Objectives

Introduction to Java plateform

Design mobile applications using drag and drop components [The Visual Mobile Designer (VMD)]

Tasks

Create a webpage with 3 links. The first link should be Your SMS composer application, the second link should be the Java Game, and the last link should be your Touch Enabled SGV UI application.

Once you have created you webpage, please send me the link to the page (containing 3 links, one link per application)

Portfolio task:

The applications that you have created should have the following modifications (Please submit 3 zip files with the different files for each sub-task)

• Creating an SMS Composer Application: No modification
• Java Me Game: they are sprites 'Karel' and 'Thomas' in the game. Change them to Lerak and Masoht
• Creating a Touch Enabled SVG UI for Java ME Devices: Add the telephone number in the form

Note

Mobile phones are avaible from Technical Support for loan, if you need a phone to test your application.

Deadline: Monday 2nd October 2009 @ 18h00.

Any plagiarism will be dealt with according to University rules.

The tutorials will require you to use Netbeans whether under Windows or Linux.
